Meet Trevia 100mg Tablets
Trevia 100 mg is used to help adults with type 2 diabetes control blood sugar, often alongside metformin or other agents when diet and exercise are not enough. DPP 4 inhibitor class medicine. Dispense and use only with a valid prescription.
How it works
Typically one 100 mg tablet once daily, with or without food, unless your label differs. Swallow with water. Keep your glucose log and clinic visits. Dose may change with kidney function. Do not split tablets unless advised. Ask RarePlus or your clinician before adding other glucose lowering products.
Side effects
Headache, stuffy nose, or mild stomach upset can occur. Watch for signs of pancreatitis: severe persistent abdominal pain. Low blood sugar risk rises when combined with insulin or sulfonylureas. Report rash or swelling of the face promptly. Inform your clinician about kidney disease and all current medicines.
