Meet Seretide® Accuhaler® 50/250 mcg
Seretide Accuhaler 50/250 mcg combines an inhaled corticosteroid with a long acting bronchodilator for ongoing control of asthma or COPD. It is a preventer device, not for sudden attacks. Keep a separate reliever available if your clinician prescribed one.
How it works
Use twice daily every day even when you feel well, unless told otherwise. Follow the dose counter and device steps in the leaflet. Rinse your mouth after each use to reduce thrush risk. Do not use for acute wheeze; that needs your reliever plan. Technique checks with a pharmacist improve results.
Side effects
Hoarse voice, throat irritation, or oral thrush can appear. Rarely, heart rhythm changes or worsening breathing need urgent review. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice. Tell clinicians about tuberculosis history, heart disease, or other inhalers you use. Seek emergency care for severe breathlessness that does not respond to your reliever.
