Meet Norvasc 5mg Tablets
Norvasc 5 mg contains amlodipine, used to treat hypertension and certain types of angina. It relaxes blood vessels so the heart does not work as hard against high pressure. Stocked for prescribed chronic care customers.
How it works
Take one tablet daily unless your clinician sets a different schedule. Can be taken with or without food. Keep taking it even when you feel well. Blood pressure control is long term. Missed dose: take when remembered unless close to the next dose. Pair with salt awareness, movement, and regular BP checks.
Side effects
Ankle swelling, flushing, dizziness, or headache are relatively common. Rise slowly from sitting if you feel lightheaded. Seek care for severe chest pain, fainting, or swelling of the face and throat. Tell your pharmacist about other BP or heart medicines. Do not stop abruptly without advice. Keep out of children’s reach.
