Meet Co-Diovan 160/12.5
Co Diovan 160/12.5 pairs an ARB (valsartan) with a thiazide diuretic to lower blood pressure in adults who need combination therapy. Taken once daily under clinician guidance with periodic lab and BP checks.
How it works
Take at the same time each day, with or without food, as prescribed. Swallow whole with water. You may pass more urine at first. Stay hydrated unless fluid is restricted. Keep taking it when pressure readings improve. Do not combine casually with potassium supplements unless directed.
Side effects
Dizziness, electrolyte changes, or photosensitivity can occur. Rise slowly if lightheaded. Seek care for fainting, severe muscle cramps, or swelling of the face and lips. Not for pregnancy. Tell your team about kidney disease, gout, or other BP medicines.
