How it works
• The Government recommends that all women take 400 μg of Folic Acid from at least one month before conception until the 12th week of pregnancy to support maternal tissue growth. Consistency matters more than large doses. Give regular use a fair trial before judging how you feel, unless a clinician advises otherwise. Store in a cool, dry place with the lid closed. Keep away from children.
Side effects
Most people tolerate this supplement well. Mild stomach upset, bloating, or headache can appear when you first start. It usually settles. Stop and speak to a pharmacist or doctor if you get rash, breathing trouble, persistent pain, or other worrying symptoms.
