Meet Amaryl 2 mg Tablets
Amaryl 2 mg is a sulfonylurea that stimulates insulin release to support glucose control in type 2 diabetes. For adults under medical supervision. Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
How it works
Usually taken once daily with breakfast or the first main meal. Swallow with water. Exact timing follows your prescription. Skipping meals raises low sugar risk. Carry a quick carbohydrate source if advised. Dose changes belong to your clinician. Store dry and away from children.
Side effects
Low blood sugar is the main risk: sweating, shaking, hunger, confusion. Treat promptly and seek help if severe. Weight gain or mild stomach upset can occur. Report allergic skin reactions. Discuss kidney or liver disease before use. Alcohol can worsen hypoglycemia. Check interactions with other glucose medicines.
