How often should you get an eye exam?
Educational information from RarePlus pharmacists — not a diagnosis. Contact the pharmacy for personalised advice about medicines.

There is no single calendar that fits everyone, but most healthy adults do well with a comprehensive eye exam about once a year, or as your clinician advises based on findings.
Come sooner if
Vision changes suddenly, you see flashes or new floaters, you have diabetes, glaucoma risk, or you need a prescription update for work or driving.
Children and contact lens wearers
Growing eyes and contact lenses need closer follow-up. We will set a recall that matches your child’s age and your lens type.
Book Lekki or Enugu when you are due, or when something feels off. Waiting rarely makes vision problems simpler.
