What a pediatric visit looks like
We keep the tone gentle. Depending on age, we check how each eye focuses, how the eyes work together, and whether glasses would help. Some children need drops for a fuller look at the back of the eye. We explain every step to you and to your child in simple words.
When to schedule sooner
Book sooner if a teacher notices reading struggles, if there is a family history of strong prescriptions or lazy eye, or after an eye injury. Premature birth and certain medical conditions also call for earlier checks.
